There's a track day there on November I think. It's like $280 and it's cold as fuck in the morning in Moterey, CA in November.

My husband wants to go so bad but with the noise limits he cannot take his GSXR or the vette. He wanted to take the Miata in September...we'll see...

Yep. They suspend the noise limits for professional racing. Track day bikes have to have stock mufflers on. Not even aftermarket mufflers with noise killing baffle inserted in, but stock mufflers.

They get a certain amount of days in a year to be loud.

I hear that some people know where the guy is that checks the sound and you can let off the gas while you go past him...but that does not sound like too much fun.

It's on a Wednesday and Thursday, but I've got plenty of leave, a set of warmers, and my trusty long underwear...
