Drain bolt has never been removed from my bike through numerous flushes.
Probably won't shoot out as much as the drain hole either. Even though I released the pressure, damn thing shot out like 10 feet across the garage and I only had a 2 foot oil pan.

One thing to remember, Kel is to either drain all of the water out before winter storage, or refill it with coolant. Don't want frozen water expanding inside the motor in January, or it will be new motor time in March.

Another thing, get some water wetter(or equivalent). Plain water does not contain any lubricant for the water pump bearings, and the pump can seize on plain water.
