Nothing is truly anonymous on the internet anyway. If you think a real person at Google is going to take the time out of their day and read what you wrote, you're crazy. Computers read it, and use it to target advertising.

I dont even know what's an exageration and whats real now-a-days when it comes to survelience... i just assume if i've thought of it, it must be true. If they're not already watching you, they will be. And if you think its safe, its not.

By my logic, we should ( or already do) have micro bots infiltrating our urinary tracts analyzing our urine output to produce a new soft drink.

Any email service you use has full capability to automatically scan your emails for content. Any website you visit can log your information. Google isn't some huge corporation hell bent on spying on you. They all do it. Google uses your internet habits to give you targeted advertising. That's how they make their money and can continue to provide you with free software.

The only difference between Google any any other internet based company is that Google tells you, upfront, that they're going to scan your data.

I won't be ready to switch to Chrome full time, until they get moving with the plugins. A portable version would be the best.

I'm waiting for the beta version's bugs to get worked out, i'm back to FF in the meantime. Chrome is definitely sweet though.

They have already released a Firefox theme that makes it look just about like Chrome. They still don't have the tabs above the address bar that Chrome has. I kind of like that approach. Also, putting the tabs up in the title bar of the window saves quite a bit of real estate.
