The kid that hit him is Garrett Tomlinson, son of Harry Tomlinson that used to race with us in the CMRA. They are a great family and love racing. I hope he has a speedy recovery from all this...

I was there...definitely sucked.

The race was red flagged and then they ran it at the end of the day after the superbike race.

Poor kid. I feel for his family and also for the kid that hit him and his family.

Maybe there is such a thing as starting out too young...Wasnt' it Hayden Gillim, Nicky Hayden's nephew that got killed a while back? I know the path to stardom is steep but these kids, even though they are willing and eager, might not quite realize the consequences...
